Flamingos are able to fly at a speed of approximately 55 kilometers an hour. In one night they can travel about 600 km.

    They can be found in the more temperate areas of North and South America, parts of Africa, S. Europe and S. and SW Asia, along with the Caribbean and Galapagos islands.
